October Meeting and Show and Tell

October Meeting was full of announcements and events including a guest speaker. Karen Al-Kharouf spoke representing "Think Pink". She talked about the awareness of Breast Cancer in Qatar. She reported on the the Quilt our Guild donated last year. The man who won the raffle donated it back.

Tammy from the Charity Committee giving Karen a donation check for Breast Cancer raised 3600 QR with our Lucky Draw quilt.

Kathleen shared this wooden lazy susan that you can put your mat on and turn to cut.

Janet shared this June Tailor Ruler that has slots in it to make cutting strips a breeze.

Julia shared this special Ruler with removeable pieces to help with calculations and accurancy. See picture below for website.
