Holiday Gift Exchange Luncheon

This is the group photo of our Holiday Luncheon at the "W" Hotel in December. It was a very nice lunch and a great event. Thanks go out to the program committee.

Pam Holland Visit and Camel Class

Pam Holland from Australia came to teach two classes to our Quilt Guild. These photos are from the Thursday class with the Camel wallhanging. It was a great day and she did an excellent job!

October Meeting and Show and Tell

October Meeting was full of announcements and events including a guest speaker. Karen Al-Kharouf spoke representing "Think Pink". She talked about the awareness of Breast Cancer in Qatar. She reported on the the Quilt our Guild donated last year. The man who won the raffle donated it back.

Tammy from the Charity Committee giving Karen a donation check for Breast Cancer raised 3600 QR with our Lucky Draw quilt.

Lora showing a sample of what we can do for this next Challenge in May. The theme is "Nature". Inspiring us and letting us know more prizes this year.

Kathleen shared this wooden lazy susan that you can put your mat on and turn to cut.

Janet shared this June Tailor Ruler that has slots in it to make cutting strips a breeze.

Julia shared this special Ruler with removeable pieces to help with calculations and accurancy. See picture below for website.

Other tools shared but not pictures from Sue R. were circular bobbin holder, a roller to press seams and special curved scissors.
